After the very successful first project with Narva College Introducing multilingual education and content & language integrated learning (CLIL) methodology in Zaporizhzhia National University this project will continue introducing Estonia’s educational know-how in multilingual education methodologies and modern teaching practices to the Ukrainian teachers in Zaporizhzhia oblast.

The project’s major event was the visit of five Estonian specialists on multilingual education and CLIL methodology to Zaporizhzhia. They attended local and regional educational establishments to exchange experience.

They also held an 8-hour seminar for 200 in-service school and university teachers on multilingual education and modern methods of teaching at Zaporizhzhia National University.

The next step in 2020 will be organizing project pitching among Zaporizhzhia teachers and organizing a study visit for 10 most devoted teachers to Estonia, introducing them to the system of education in Estonia, attending a two day conference on CLIL and ELT in Narva College of the University of Tartu, developing international ties for further cooperation.
